The project focuses on processing analytical data for the elaboration of methodology, including didactic methods and aids leading to the systematic introduction of geoinformation technologies (GIT) into teaching at primary and secondary schools. This objective is based on the knowledge that although in today's world geoinformation technologies have become an indispensable tool in the everyday lives of all people, current education in the Czech Republic lacks supporting materials for teachers and students to facilitate the incorporation of these technologies in teaching. Although the teaching of GIT in foreign curricula is becoming standard, in the Czech educational system GIS is not clearly established in terms of terminology. There is no material that allows teachers to conceptually implement it in individual subjects and grades of primary and secondary schools, including the integration of subjects and cross-cutting topics.
